Human resources to seek
● Applications accepted for training are those who start farming with "Shishito, Garlic Chives, and Green Beans" cultivated in a conventional facility and "Ginger" cultivated in the open field ※１.
● Those who are willing to become a leader in agriculture in Nakatosa Town and actively engage in agriculture.
● Those who are physically and mentally healthy and can interact with the community.
● Those who can live in Honmachi between the ages of 25 and 40.
● Those who have their own funds for the initial investment required for farming and the living expenses until they earn income after the start of management.
● Before accepting, we will have you receive basic training at Kochi Prefectural Agricultural Leaders Training Center etc. and decide whether or not to continue.
● You will be interviewed at the Nakatosa Town Regional Agricultural Revitalization Council.
● The Nakatosa Town Regional Agricultural Revitalization Council will select the recipients of the training. ※ We cannot accept requests to nominate recipients.
※ 1) We do not support training such as organic farming and pesticide-free farming.
Support
[During the training period]
● If requirements are met, a monthly payment of 150,000 yen will be provided for up to 2 years using the national and prefectural training support systems ※ 1
● We will provide information on housing (vacant houses) in the town.
[After training]
● If requirements are met, you can receive a subsidy from the national agricultural next-generation human resources investment business (start-up type) ※ 2
● We will support you in securing farmland, facilities, machinery, etc. while responding to your requests ※ 1
● Related organizations such as JA and Agricultural Promotion Center will support cultivation guidance after farming.
● After the training, you will start farming in Nakatosa Town and aim to establish agricultural management in cooperation with the JA Production Subcommittee and the region ※ 3
※ 1) There are some requirements for utilizing various support systems, and we may not be able to meet your request.
※ 2) There are certain conditions such as creating report materials for the training period and requiring farming within one year after the training.
In some cases, the subsidy can be returned, so be familiar with the contents.
※ 3) Those who can handle all future projects and their responsibilities as a result when starting agriculture, including the start of training.
Work flow
[The way to farming]
After the acceptance, you will receive basic training at the Kochi Prefectural Agricultural Leaders Training Center for 6 months or more, and the Nakatosa Town Regional Agricultural Revitalization Council will hold an interview to judge the appropriateness based on the evaluation. After that, the host farmer will receive one to two years of practical training before starting farming.
