Medical insurance is not applied in order to reduce the financial burden on couples suffering from infertility and to improve measures against the declining birthrate in the town.
We subsidize part of the cost of fertility treatment, which requires high medical costs.

■ General health checkup for pregnant women
○ When the Maternal and Child Health Handbook is issued, you will be given a Pregnant Woman General Health Examination Sheet (14 times) that can be used at medical institutions in the prefecture.
○ There is a reimbursement system for consultation fees even for homecoming births.
※ If the medical examination fee exceeds the upper limit of public funds, the excess will be borne by the individual.

■ Newborn hearing test
○ We will give you a newborn hearing test consultation slip (first / retest) that can be used at medical institutions in the prefecture when the Maternal and Child Health Handbook is issued.
○ There is a reimbursement system for inspection costs even for homecoming births.
※ If the inspection fee (limited to ABR) exceeds the upper limit of public subsidy, the excess will be borne by the individual.

■ General health checkup for infants
○ At the time of notification of childbirth, we will give you a general health checkup slip (for 2 times) that you can see at a medical institution in the prefecture. (Until the day before the 1st birthday)

■ Infant health check
For the healthy growth of children's mind and body, the town conducts health checkups for infants.
○ Infant medical examination
Early infants: 3-7 months old. Late infants: 8-11 months old
○ 1 year and 6 months old child medical examination: for children aged from 1 year and 8 months old to 1 year and 11 months
○ Medical examination for 3-year-old children: for children aged 3 years and 6 months to 3 years and 9 months

■ Nakatosa Town Child-rearing support project
A "Nico Nico Baby Ticket" (1,000 yen subsidy ticket) will be issued to the caregiver who has completed the procedure in four installments. When purchasing diapers at registered stores in the town block, we will subsidize them by using a ticket. (Maximum 80,000 yen)
※ Tickets are valid until the day before the target baby's 2nd birthday.

■ Subsidies for medical expenses for children
We will subsidize part of the medical expenses (out-of-pocket expenses for insurance medical treatment) when children (until junior high school)  are hospitalized.

We provide a playground for children from 0 years old to preschool.

■ Child-care consultation service
We provide childcare / breastfeeding consultations and physical measurements for the purpose of counseling on the growth and development of children and interacting with other mothers. Pregnant women can also participate. (Implemented once a month)

■ Temporary childcare
We take care of children over 6 months old who are not in the nursery school for one or half days.

 

■ Reduction measures for childcare fees, etc.
Half the childcare fee for the second child and free childcare fees for the third and subsequent children. (There is reduction regardless of simultaneous admission)

■ After-school childcare / after-school study room
It is run by each schoolchild nursery school or Kure Elementary School and each junior high school.

 

■ Nakatosa Town Scholarship Fund System
We will lend a part of the academic funds as a scholarship to those who have difficulty in attending school due to financial reasons.

 

■ High school student commuting expenses, etc. subsidy program
We will subsidize part of the commuting costs and rent for students enrolled in high school or college of technology.

※ Up to 3 years for minors only.

 

■ Nakatosa test (for elementary and junior high school students)
"Nakatosa test" that trains the brain and nurtures the mind. In order to establish basic academic ability, we carry out literacy calculation training and certification exams.
